Zinc-Free Clear is a glossy glaze recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of color shift. Most underglazes, stains, and coloring oxides will show their best color with Zinc-Free Clear.
Some colors may be muted with HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear:
- V-315 Peach
V-316 Light Pink
V-323 Salmon
Note: All dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. Dipping glazes behave differently from brushing and they require thorough testing prior to layering full piece.
